Cookie Policy
Effective date: September 3, 2026
A short, complete list of what datsutra.com and the Datsutra platform store on your device, and how to switch off the parts that are optional.
1. What a cookie is
A small file a website stores in your browser so it can recognise your device on a later request. This page also covers similar technologies - local storage and pixels - because the practical effect is the same.
2. What we actually use
| Category | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessaryRequired | Datsutra | Keeps you signed in to the platform and remembers which workspace you are viewing. | Session, or up to 30 days if you stay signed in |
| AnalyticsOptional | Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics | Counts visits and shows which pages people read, in aggregate. We use it to decide what to write next. | Up to 24 months |
3. What we don’t use
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this website, we do not sell or share what you read here with data brokers, and we do not use session-recording or heat-mapping tools.
Prices shown in your local currency are worked out from your browser’s own language and time-zone settings. That needs no cookie, no geo-IP lookup and no third-party request - and the amount you are billed is always in INR, as set out in the Terms & Conditions.
4. Turning cookies off
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for a specific site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out of the platform and keep you signed out.
- Analytics only: install Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block googletagmanager.com in your browser or an extension. The site works normally without it.
- Private browsing clears everything on this list when you close the window.
5. Third parties
Google sets the analytics cookies described above and processes that data under its own terms. When you sign in to Google Ads or Meta to connect an ad account, those sign-in flows happen on their websites and are governed by their cookie policies, not this one.
6. Changes
If we add anything that stores data on your device, this page is updated in the same release. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
